Professor Solomon P. Wasser - Chief Scientific Advisor, Haifa University of Israel
Professor Solomon P. Wasser is a world leader in the study of medicinal mushrooms. He has conducted pioneering research in the antioxidant and radical scavenging properties of medicinal mushrooms. He was also instrumental in obtaining two patents for our special Lingzhi, Ganoderma tsugae var jannieae. He also heads the International Center for Biotechnology and Biodiversity of Fungi, Institute of Evolution at the University of Haifa in Israel.
He is also the Scientific Head of Department of Cryptogamic Plants at the N.G. Kholodny Insitute of Botany, National Academy of Science of Ukraine and also the Director of Science and Technology at Med Myco Ltd and Innovative Technologies Ltd in Israel.
He has also authored, co-authored and/or edited over 600 scientific publications. This includes 48 books, 12 patents and other contributions on mycoclogy (including lichenology) and algology, systematics, ecology, biodiversity, protection, commercial cultivation of edible and medicinal mushrooms and environmental topics.
Professor Milton Hearn – Monash University, Clayton, Australia
Professor Milton Hearn has led a distinguished career, building a reputation for pioneering separation, purification and characterization of chemical and biochemical molecules. He is a director of the Australian research council special research centre for green chemistry at Monash University, Clayton and was awarded the prestigious 2012 Leighton Memorial Medal of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI).
His research focuses on the elucidation of polypeptide and protein hormone structure and function and how they vary between normal and diseased states; the use of biocatalysis in directed synthesis; molecular imprinting; surface and combinatorial chemistry and aspects of nano-biotechnology.
He has authored over 450 scientific publications and a number of books, an inventor/ co-inventor of 20 issued patents relating to the development of analytical methods in a range of research areas in the life sciences. He is also a member of LCGC North America’s editorial advisory board and as associate editor or member of eight other scientific publications.
